A wide spectrum of equipments including Echo Cardiography, Colour doppler, Holter monitor, Treadmill, ECG and Nuclear Cardiology have been widely utilised by cardiologists specially trained in these areas. The cardiac care centre with specialists in paediatric cardiology completely addresses the crucial needs of adult paediatric and neonatal cardiac care.

The Cardio Thoracic Surgery team under the leadership of Prof. K.R. Balakrishnan is always ready on a 24 hours basis to tackle the complexities of cradiac problems requiring surgical care. These surgical procedures include complex corrective procedures in a new born children, valve replacement in the young and old was well as coronary bypass surgery.

Dr. J.S.N. Murthy, the invasive cardiologist has completed 2,000 Cardiac Coronary Angiographic procedures at Sri Ramachandra Hospital.
